1. Estimate your investment
What drives your estimate
| Driver | Your input | Why it matters |
|---|
Indicative only. Your final price depends on a discovery session with our team and is confirmed in a written proposal.
2. Work out your payback
Payback depends on your business, not ours. Enter your own figures; the calculator only does the arithmetic. Leave any line at zero if it does not apply.
ERP cost guide: what you are actually paying for
An ERP investment has two parts: the software (licence or subscription) and the work to make it run your business (implementation). Buyers who compare only the licence line often miss the second part, which is where most projects succeed or fail.

Pothera Lite or Pothera ERP?
Pothera Lite is our subscription edition for smaller teams, with published per-user pricing. Pothera ERP is the full platform for manufacturers and traders, typically ₹10–500 crore in revenue, that need production, multi-site inventory, compliance and industry-specific configuration. It is priced to your scope and delivered with a dedicated implementation team.
How to calculate ERP ROI
Annual benefit = time saved + inventory carrying cost released + working-capital gain from faster collections + other savings.
- Time saved = hours saved per week × 52 × cost per hour
- Inventory benefit = inventory value × expected reduction % × carrying cost %
- Collections benefit = (annual revenue ÷ 365) × days faster × cost of capital %
Payback (months) = first-year investment ÷ (annual benefit ÷ 12).
3-year ROI = (3 × annual benefit − 3-year total cost) ÷ 3-year total cost.
Use conservative figures you can defend to your own finance team. The strongest ERP business cases rest on a few benefits the owner can verify, not on many optimistic ones.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Pothera ERP cost?
It depends on users, modules, number of sites and implementation scope. Use the estimator for an indicative range, then request a quote for a firm, written price.
Why don't you publish one fixed price for the full ERP?
Two manufacturers with the same user count can need very different modules, sites and migration work. A single number would be wrong for most buyers. We publish the cost drivers and give a written quote after a short discovery session.
How long does implementation take?
Typically 8–12 weeks, depending on your requirements, number of sites and data readiness.
We run on Tally and Excel. Is migration included?
Data migration is scoped as part of implementation. Its effort depends on how much history you bring across and how clean the data is. Our team plans the migration path with you during discovery.
What does the AMC cover?
Ongoing support, updates and fixes for your Pothera ERP. The exact coverage is set out in your proposal.
Cloud or on-premise — which costs less?
Cloud spreads cost into a recurring subscription and removes server management. On-premise needs your own infrastructure. Most Pothera ERP clients choose cloud; both are supported.
Is Pothera ERP GST and e-invoicing ready?
Yes. Pothera ERP is GST and e-invoicing ready for Indian businesses.
Is the estimate a quote?
No. It is an indicative range to help you plan. Your quote is confirmed in writing after discovery.
